Night Trips

Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Miami
This is a great alternative for the angler without the time during the day to fish but who has a night free to satisfy those angling tendencies. It's also a great way to target snook and tarpon period! Snook and tarpon feed largely after dark. Opportunities offered after the sun has set create a recipe for some very consistent success for these two challenging species. Many anglers have caught their first tarpon or snook this way. Fly anglers really shine in the dark as do conventional casters throwing anything from live shrimp to plugs and soft plastics. The majority of fishing is actually sight fishing as fish visually bust shrimp and baitfish at the surface in and around lighted structures like docks, bridge abutments and seawalls. This is some of the most exciting and challenging fishing you can experience. Once hooked, be it snook or tarpon, the fight has to quickly go to the fish or it'll do what it can to break you off on the surrounding structure.
